Crime Report: Road Rage Arrest, Suspect Caught After Chase

The Arlington Police Department has released its crime report for the past week.  Two highlights: police nabbed a wanted man after an alleged fight and a foot chase, and arrested another man after a suspected case of road rage.

RESISTING ARREST-ARREST 02/18/10, 2200 block of S. Kenmore Street. On February 18 at 1:45 am when an officer attempted to arrest a man for an outstanding warrant, the suspect fought the officer and fled the area on foot. The suspect was apprehended and found to be in possession of narcotics. John Hart, 46, of Arlington, was charged with Resisting Arrest and Possession of Narcotics. He was held without bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST 02/18/10, 4100 block of S. Walter Reed Drive. On February 18 at 5 pm, a man assaulted another man after a road rage incident. Pablo Lopez, 38, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery. He was released on a summons.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY 02/19/10, 4200 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive. On February 19 at 4:45, a 17 year old male was playing soccer and an unknown suspect assaulted him. The victim had minor injuries. The suspect is an African American male between 17 and 19 years of age.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY 02/21/10, 1600 block of S. Walter Reed Drive. On February 21 at 12:30 am, a man reported to police that he had been assaulted. He could not provide any additional details.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY 02/22/10, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. On February 22 at 3:30 pm, a woman assaulted an employee at a clothing store. The suspect was a white female in her 20’s, 5’5″, 130 lbs, with blond hair. She was wearing a grey coat and thick black framed glasses.

BURGLARY 02/18/10, 1400 block of N. Glebe Road. On February 18 between 10 am and noon, and unknown person entered a residence and stole numerous electronics. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY 02/19/10, 800 block of N. Ohio Street. On February 19 between noon and 9 pm, an unknown suspect entered a residence and stole jewelry. There is no suspect description.

BURGLARY 02/20/10, 2200 block of Clarendon Boulevard. On February 20 between 10 am and 9 pm, an unknown person entered and apartment and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY 02/23/10, 900 block of S. Buchanan Street. On February 23 between 7 pm and 9:30 pm, an unknown subject entered an apartment through a window and stole electronic items. There is no suspect description.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 02/20/10, 3300 block of N. Lee Highway. On February 20 between 1 am and 2 am, an unknown subject forced entry into a business and stole jewelry. There are no known suspects.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY-ARREST 02/21/10, 5200 block of S. 8th Street. On February 21 at 3 am, two juveniles entered into an apartment after fleeing from police because they were intoxicated. The suspects were found and detained.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY 02/24/10, 1800 block of N. Quinn Street. On February 24 at 2 am, a woman walked into her apartment and an unknown man followed her inside. When she called out to her male roommate, the suspect fled the apartment. The suspect was an African American male with a light complexion, between 20 and 30 years old, 5’8″ and heavyset.
