I live across the street. Just had two cars collide at the intersection and one of them rammed the traffic light pole in front of the college. Cops were already there for the bomb threat. FUN FUN FUN.
Lyon Parker Natalie Roy is protesting the closing of the sidewalk on such short notice. She wants to know why safety should trump years of use without concerns for safety.
Hey, at least they’ll sweep some bums off that sidewalk.
Haha, sweep up the bums? Ballston is nearly bum-less, short of the guy who wears camo shorts and constantly asks for work and says “pretty hair/dress, pretty lady”.
I first saw camo shorts guy in late summer selling old video games out of a milk crate outside of Goody’s, and he has asked me for work twice since then. They seem like things that a very-recently homeless, down-on-his-luck guy would do, but from the “pretty dress/hair, pretty lady” thing, it sounds like there are some deeper issues.
I’ve gotten/heard “pretty eyes” from him a couple times.
Made your day
Damn right. Doesn’t even matter that I’ve heard him say it to 50 other women. I feel special.
That’s somewhat of a “bum desert” actually; they’re all either at Oakland Park or near the mall.
Calm down there guy – “bum desert” sounds like you need to lay off the gay porn.
Lol – I was thinking more like along the lines of “food desert”…
Obviously some kids from Strayer College pranking arch-rival Everett.
Err, Everest. Everett College moved away.
Clearly someone didn’t agree with the lunch specials at the Thai Restaurant.
The owners of the new Burapa Thai probably.
My bf is so witty!
I was one of those displaced while the police searched the building, Rustico was nice enough to bring out samples of their pizza for the crowd and handed out coupons. Pretty smart, I am more likely to stop in there for lunch now.
Rustico called in the bomb threat, brilliant marketing.
I guess “somebody” at Everest College didn’t want to take a test.
They don’t take tests.. you just show up and not act high and you are the “winner” that day.
+2
I was wondering what was going on over there and I knew I could check Arlnow and find out. Thanks.
Was the daycare down the street in the church secured?
Yes, they passed out ammo to all the little brats with firearms.
and Steve stopped by with smokes.
