Isn’t there a ton of parking on Fern St. and also all around the pseudo-park that both the Metropolitan and Gramercy apartment buildings have just off of Fern? At the least there are ample metered spots. That Eads parking lot was a nightmare.

Why would you have driven anyways then? The post office is moving literally 2 blocks. Were the 2 blocks make or break for you?

I’m all for the move, but I may be biased because it’s now literally across the street from my house and I don’t need to drive there (i.e. lack of parking is not an issue).

Can’t today, the autogyro got stuck in Siam.

Sadly, the self-serve machine at the Eads St. location was also out-of-order more often than not for me. Much better to just suck it up and deal with the inevitably long line at the Crystal Drive location than get my hopes up and then find myself sitting in a short but even slower line.
