Going to be rocking that Turtle Trot myself.
It’s not listed, but inn celebration of Neighborhood Day, Lyon Village will be constructing a wall to keep outsiders away and posting armed guards at regularly spaced sentry towers. However, residents will gladly accept donations of outsiders’ tax dollars for infrastructure improvements to the neighborhood.
I wanna crash the SoCo party… what they got goin’ on up in that hood?
Is Nauck ready for me?
You should go pull out invasive plants – they’re just like illegal immigrants.
That Fairlington event sounds like a blast.
i guess they got jealous of the Aurora Highlands people and their plane-pull at DCA…
Seriously. We have a firehouse. Why can’t we do a BBQ, too?
“Pardon me Miss, I think I have an invasive plant in my pants….”
Exactly my thought; “Oh oh, what’s my neighborhood doing? A 5K? A picnic?… Ugh.”
Rockwell Plaque Dedication at Fillmore Park
?
good question. Which Rockwell. Where is Filmore Park?
Hi…this is Susan Kalish for Arlington County and want to share about the cool Rockwells! They had a small parcel of land next to Fillmore Park…33 N. Fillmore St., Arlington, VA 22201 in Lyon Park….and they sold it to the Northern Virginia Conservation Trust with the stipulation that it become open space public land. NVCT gave it to Arlington County. This is a small event to thank the Rockwells for helping us extend County parks.
If I go to the Fairlington event, do I actually have to pull out the invasive plants? Or, can I just bring a pump sprayer full of Roundup and go to town?
