A three-to-four vehicle accident involving Metrobus occurred at the intersection of Army Navy Drive and S. Hayes Street, in Pentagon City, just after 3:00 this afternoon.
Two injuries were reported, but at least initially there were no injuries reported on the bus.
The accident snarled traffic at the busy intersection, adjacent to Pentagon City mall. Police and firefighters are currently on the scene.

3:45 pm: It looks like only one lane (of three) is making to the 395 south / Wash Blvd /Columbia Pk entance from Hayes street. Traffic is backing up south on Hayes. They have tow trucks and a few officers on scene.
Least surprising story in the history of news. That area is absolutely crazy with all the buses and taxis.
Not surprising at all. Go sit by the Bus Depot on the corner of Glebe and Eads and you’ll see what terrible drivers are piloting those buses. No consideration for traffic or other people.
