A man was stabbed last weekend after trying to intervene when two men were harassing a woman in the Columbia Heights West neighborhood.
From this week’s Arlington County crime report:
MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 07/14/12, 800 block of S. Harrison Street. On July 14 at 4:00 am, two unknown subjects confronted and stabbed the victim after he intervened when they were harassing two female subjects. The suspects are described as Hispanic males between the ages of 19-22, wearing dark clothing.
Last week a Maywood resident was robbed at gunpoint, in the middle of the day, by two suspects.
ROBBERY, 07/12/12, 2300 block of N. Lincoln Street. On July 12 at 3:48 pm, two unknown subjects kicked in the victim’s kitchen door and robbed him at gunpoint of cash, sneakers and a phone. Suspects are described as black males, approximately 20 years old, with one possibly wearing fake dreadlocks.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 07/16/12, 1200 block of S. Scott Street. On July 16 at 12:53 am, officers discovered a fight in progress with two victims stabbed. Arrested and charged with malicious wounding by mob were Enkhbayar Modyo, 30, of Arlington, Oyunbat Jamsran, 30, of Arlington and Onon Turmandakh, 27, of Arlington.
OFFICER SHOOTING OF A DOG, 07/15/12, 2000 block of S. Oakland Street. On July 15 at 4:35 pm, the victim was returning home when two dogs running loose attacked him. Officers arriving on scene were also attacked and one dog was shot and killed. Animal Welfare took possession the other dog.
BURGLARY, 07/12/12, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. Between July 11 at 10:00 pm and July 12 at 11:32 am, an unknown male subject broke into the business and stole approximately $450 and an iPad.
BURGLARY, 07/17/12, 4500 block of S. 31 Street. On July 17 at 4:30 pm, unknown subject broke into the home and stole electronics.
BURGLARY, 07/16/12, 4200 block of N. Wilson Boulevard. Between July 15 at 7:00 pm and July 16 at 10:00 am, unknown subject broke into the business and stole cash.
LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 07/13/12, 2700 block of S Joyce Street. Between July 12 at 8:00 am and July 13 at 7:30 am, multiple vehicles were entered and various items taken.
LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 07/15/12, 4400 block of S 31st Street. Between July 15 at 11:00 pm and July 16 at 6:39 am, multiple vehicles were damaged and various items taken.
