Virginia’s annual back-to-school sales tax holiday starts tomorrow (Friday).

From Aug. 3-5, certain school supplies, clothing and footwear will be exempt from Virginia’s 5 percent sales tax. The exemption only applies to school supplies priced $20 or less and clothing and shoes priced $100 or less.

A complete list of qualifying items is available on the Virginia Department of Taxation website.

I don’t see the troll in here complaining about how certain school supplies are exempt and others aren’t. What a hypocrite.

I know, right? Who buys shoes under $100?

I’d like to see Chik-fil-A sandwiches offered tax free this weekend.

Will my keg be free of sales tax?

We need more tax holidays so that people will shop more. The economy is far, far worse since Obama became president. The people who have suffered most under Obama have been the lower and middle classes. They are the ones who are on food stamps in record numbers. The rich are doing great under Obama! It’s the Wall St. bankers and auto execs who got billions in bailouts, not the average Joe. The lower and middle classes got empty promises, and many are too stupid to realize that Obama is a disaster as president. Not me, I’m not voting for Obama again! I can’t afford four more years of Obama. Who can except the wealthy?!?
