Stopped by today at lunch to see what the deal was given the 135 comments this generated. Hamburger, fries, choc shake - $12.25. The hamburger reminded me of White Castle or the Krystal. There was a large portion of fires, exceeded only by the extra large portion of salt on them. The shake was OK, but at $4.89 it cost a dollar more than the hamburger. The interior looks bullet proof, so by all means bring the kids. However, my favorite was the fact they gave me one of those buzzer thingies to alert me when my order was ready - seemed a might excess given I was the only person there at 12:30ish. Good practice I guess. I'm sure Ray is quaking in his boots......

“….If you don’t want to be around loud kids, you can adjust your schedule, deal with it, or rant on a message board about this rampant national crisis. All of us adjust our lifestyles for various reasons, so if you think whining here is going to change this loud child problem that you have diagnosed, then you are incredibly naive.
Others pointed out that they haven’t seen the exaggerated version of behavior that you described, and I would concur with their observations. Complaining about kids at a family friendly restaurant is akin to bleating about drunks at a bar or loud music at a street festival….”
I can solve the burger problem, go to Rays – he doesn’t suffer fools or load and obnoxious people, be they big or little. No kids menu.
As for your second point, guess it depends on who gets to define the restaurant as kid friendly or family friendly. I would assume the owner, not the patron. Some opinions on the issue:

I can state with absolute certainty that I am *MUCH* healthier than the cows (pigs, chickens and fish) I have eaten in the past.
I can also state (from complaints received from others) that *YOU* are much healthier than having me eat more beans/tofu/legumes. My methane is toxic.
To each his own.

Visited last night. Burger was juicy with very good flavor but it was on the small elevation hamburger size, as in small. small in diameter as well as small in thickness. perhaps twice the thickness of a McDonald's hamburger. The fries were pile high but stone cold. The shake was quite good. Re: the sitting. Very uncomfortable, both the interior seating areas as well as the wall seating. Bottom line: Staff friendly, burgers good but small, forge the fries unless you can get them to make them for you fresh and always order take out. Second Bottom Line: BGR easily trumps this place in both the hamburger size and juiciness and seating comfort. Shakes are about equal. And I don't know about the fries as I've never had any at BGR. But I suspect they cook them fresh. Would I return to Burger 7? No, not likely. Don't be fooled by the cuteness of the place in the photos.
