Don’t you think that if a police officer had the choice between preventing a robbery and writing a parking ticket, they’d choose the former? They aren’t making those choices, the politicians are. It’s the Arlington elected officials and those voters who put them into office that don’t have their priorities straight. Anyway, if we’re going to point fingers at anything, how about the fact that we keep letting repeat offenders our for third and fourth chances?
