A kid is old enough for sex but too young to decide he or she has the option of a vaccine? A girl can choose to have an abortion because she was old enough for sex but feels too young to have a baby, and yet she MUST have an HPV vaccine? Or here’s one, a kid is old enough for sex, and yet conversely is too young to have the freedom to choose whether or not they should have a soda with lunch at school? You can’t have it both ways. Either they are kids or they are not.

The problem is that the left continually seeks to remove the consequences for stupid actions, the consequences that used to prevent kids from having sex as kids. Forcing all kids (even those mature enough to keep their pants on) to have an HPV vaccine is an attempt at removing a consequence . And then we marvel at how promiscuous kids are these days. Sure, SOME kids used to have sex early when there were more consequences for doing so, but not at the rate you have today.
