Why are my tax dollars being spent to educated people who are here illegally? What does their country do to me?????? I don’t care how they got here. They can always go back to the country that they were born in and apply legally. People like my wife, who followed the rules and legally immigrated this country get shi* on. I could care less if prices go up as a result but most of these folks need to be deported. What we forget is that many of these people will never be eligible for immigration due to crimes committed in their own country. Americans keep getting killed by illegals from south of the border and this has to stop!

Many (perhaps most) illegal aliens come from countries such as Mexico that have excellent public university systems with low tuition and high standards for admission. The illegals can return home if they have the grades to be accepted in those universities.

However, if they don’t have the grades, they want to stay in the U.S. and enroll in community colleges and other schools that don’t require high grades for admission. Those are the people that a Dream Act subsidizes.

Nobody promoting the Dream Act ever points this out to the unsuspecting public.

The children of illegal aliens, if they are illegal aliens themselves (ie not born in the US) cannot legally work in the US. it’s like if I got to the UK as a tourist or sneak in, it’s illegal for me to work.

How are they getting seats in Virginia High Schools??? They are not eligible to receive a “free” education here just by being here.

Is it a crime for children of illegal immigrants to work? I’m not sure about that. No, not all degrees would necessarily improve the quality of life in a community (I’d prefer not to live in an area where there were 10,000 people with Associate’s degrees in gunsmithing), but I think you can agree that as a rule of thumb, education does raise the quality of life.

It would be awesome to live in a neighborhood with that number of transgender studies majors. Imagine the parties.

Drax. Open your eyes. It would provide me an incentive to have my family come to the US illegaly, file income tax for three years, go to high school for free, and then get in state tuition rather than come to the USA on a student visa and have to pay out of state tutition. People following the rules get punished. Illegal aliens get rewarded.
