Tell the, we want our teeter back. They have been giving the same lip service forever. If they hear from a large group directly they are more likely to respond.

Your source for them being “never profitable?” I had heard, admittedly from HT sources, that the Potomac Yard store was one of their most profitable.

I hope that this gets resolved soon. It was a much better HT than the one at Pentagon Row, which I find to be less clean, less well-rganized and more cramped and doesn’t carry several products that were available at the Potomac Yard location. Also, parking at Pentagon Row is no fun – surface parking is usually full at peak hours and on weekends and parking in the garage is only validated (ie: free) for an hour. It’s hard to do a full/big grocery shopping trip for a family at a busy store with long lines and be loaded in the car and out of the garage in an hour. I know it’s only a few dollars to park, and I was paying it when HT was still mailing me coupons that made it worth my while, but it’s annoying and now that they’re not sending coupons anymore I find myself shopping more and more at a mix of Trader Joes, Costco and Giant. Sad because I was a loyal HT customer for years! I also have 2 friends whose cars were hit while shopping and legally parked in the Pentagon Row HT parking lot, so I guess paying a few dollars to be in the garage is better than that!

Lets think about it, hmmmm. how about RAW SEWAGE. That takes time to clean up and remove. along with stripping the store of everything contaminated. then to overhaul and basically rebuild it. Then to bring in all new equipment, registers, computer software, then to train all new people. oh and the dispute with the county to make sure it doesnt happen again.

This sucks! That was my main grocery store and all the other HT’s around suck to go to, like the one in Pentagon City and Shirlington.

I worked there twice in 2010 serving weenie samples, met a lot of fascinating people, the few who shopped. The store was dead, so it’s no surprise to me that sh-t hit the fan. All grocery stores suck, go into the stock room of the meat department of any grocery store, in the Metro area like I did, especially Alexandria, it’s enough to turn you vegetarian.
