Crime Report: Wine and Purses Stolen

Someone stole numerous Coach purses and bottles of wine from a storage unit in the Rosslyn area earlier this month, according to police.

From this week’s Arlington County crime report:

BURGLARY, 07/28/13, 1000 block of N. Arlington Boulevard. Between July 9 and July 28 at 10 am, an unknown subject(s) broke into a storage unit and stole 2 cases of wine and eleven Coach purses. There is no suspect(s) description.

ROBBERY, 07/28/13, 1700 block of N. Wilson Boulevard. At 6 pm on July 28, a victim was robbed of two cell phones and cash in a parking lot. The victim had placed an online ad trying to sell the cell phones. The suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s, approximately 6’4″ tall with a slim build. He had tattoos on his arms and neck and was wearing a brown shirt and grey camouflage cargo shorts at the time of the incident.

ROBBERY, 07/28/13, 1800 block of S. Jefferson Davis Highway. At 4 am on July 28, a victim was approached by a subject outside the Crystal City Metro and was allegedly cut on his right forearm with a knife when the subject demanded money. The victim sustained a large laceration and was transported to Virginia Hospital Center. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’7″ tall and 180 lbs. He was wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers at the time of the incident.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 07/30/13, 2000 block of S. Columbia Pike. On July 30 at 1:33 pm, police responded to an apartment for a domestic assault. The suspect had repeatedly struck the victim during an argument. Anas Mounabbih, 33, of Arlington, VA, was arrested and charged with malicious wounding and child endangerment.

BURGLARY, 07/26/13, 2200 block of N. 12th Court. At 3:50 am on July 26, a witness saw an unknown subject smash the window of a Market and steal several items. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’11” tall and 160 lbs. The suspect was wearing a blue hat, white t-shirt with a blue stripe and jeans at the time of the incident.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 07/30/13, 4300 block of N. Wilson Boulevard. Between July 23 at 4:30 pm and July 25 at 6:30 am, an unknown subject(s) entered an office and stole an iPad. There is no suspect(s) description.
