4th of July in Philly

Sunshine, you said, “real deal.” The original is the “real deal.”

You may like a different type of steak sandwich, but the “real deal” is Pat’s King of Steaks, regardless of your taste.

And, I know many people from Philly, in and around, who still swear by either Pat’s or Geno’s (note correct spelling of Geno’s… which you should know as a native of Philly.)

I actually think I like Tony Luke’s better, but I still get a Pat’s steak when I’m in the area.

I wonder how often Vedge has to scrub off an “a” someone has scrawled in place of the first e.

Hope you had a better 4th of July than a college friend of mine. He just got married, bought a house, and on the 4th of July his neighbor’s fireworks burned his house down within a week of them having started moving in. Fortunately they weren’t there.

Probably for the best. Who wants to live near such an irresponsible neighbor?

@NS, that sucks big time!  I guess if this had to happen, it’s best to happen before they moved in. Hopefully the rebuilding goes smoothly, and the couple view this as their chance to remodel the kitchen, bath, etc.
