That is not what “they” said. The article that you linked to says:

One man, who asked that his name not be used to protect his privacy, reached out to police on Twitter after spotting someone roughly matching the suspect's description in Lodato's slaying on Washington Boulevard near the Lyceum museum about 9:30 p.m.

The man said in a text message conversation that the man -- who was balding, with gray hair and a full, bushy beard -- was "speaking to himself loudly" and that after walking south rapidly, he turned suddenly north. The tipster said he typically "would have thought nothing of it," but in light of the day's events, he told two people he was talking with that they should leave and later contacted police.

Nosal said she had forwarded the man's information to detectives, who would follow up on his and other tips. She said it was too early to say if the man spotted was in any way connected to the shooting.

Schools were put into lockdown in arlington, yesterday re: this shooting. Perhaps you should read the posts on here, Captain_obvious rather than try to derail the conversation.

it wasn’t far from arlington. i think the topic is fair game.

also, this thread title could just as well be about nancy dunning: http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/crime/alexandria-police-still-trying-to-solve-slaying-of-nancy-dunning-sheriffs-wife/2013/12/04/eda977a0-5cfa-11e3-be07-006c776266ed_story.html

They said he was seen "speaking to himself loudly" and I don't think they were referring to bluetooth.

Perhaps he was just looking for these.

Dear ahum. fakenovassteve bids adieu as the realnovasteve is no longer a presence among the Arlnow internet sphere. However, fakenovasteve as with realnovasteve is doomed to always lurk and lurk and lurk in the deepest darkest shadows while suppressing that desire, need, and addiction for attention and love.

Yes, realnovasteve we are brothers, and as such can never be far apart......…
