Hey guys, I’m a little late, but I’d like to apologize to anyone driving on Washington Boulevard through Clarendon going west (toward the Pentagon/395 interchange) around 1:30 last Thursday afternoon. I was the jagoff in the green Civic who got T-boned in the middle of making a turn and was consequently blocking the right-hand lane (out front of the Wells Fargo parking lot) with his disabled vehicle for the better part of an hour. That five-way intersection is enough of a mess without me mucking it up with a broken axle. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.
Please don’t drive and teabag at the same time. I’m sure the liberals have a law that makes it illegal to teabag and drive at the same time, but just in case they don’t…
Of course, novasteve would complain that he has the right to teabag and drive at the same time… while he’s smoking… but I think it’s offensive and unsafe. Besides… no one wants to be teabagged by a d-bag.
I’ll assume you are okay?? And you hadn’t performed the maintenance on the car, yet? Does this mean you are car shopping?
Well, at least you don’t have to worry about whether or not you’ll fail inspection.
@newty—Surprisingly, this is relevant: http://www.comedycentral.com/video-clips/u35dd2/it-s-always-sunny-in-philadelphia-manhunting
@dezlboy—Thankfully I emerged unscathed. I hadn’t gotten it inspected either, so there was no need to kick myself for making unnecessary repairs (I ended up selling the car for parts). That’s a win in my book. I’m kindasorta shopping but not being particularly aggressive with it. I’d rather save up a bit more and buy something a bit more current. The recently departed was a 2001 with 191k on the clock, so in addition to not being comatose or dead, I can also be happy about the fact that we had a good long run.
@Swag—You speaks the truth, my friend.
