Could someone please explain the origins of the “Trev” and “Donaldson Run” memes? I must have been out sick on those days.
Thanks.

click here, bro for the 411 on trevor. he’s the website’s mascot.
donaldson run is this nice place where i live (i’m a wolf) but u humans keep polluting it so i think it’s a running joke that they just can’t keep the stream clean? fish keep dying or whatever. which sucks cuz i eat fish sometimes. they’re fast, very hard to catch with my paws. i usually try and grab them in my teeth but like i said, they’re fast. and sickly thanks to pollution.
*howls & darts off into the woods to dig up some moles*
Helps the wolf post a direct link to meme.
Donaldson Run is much harder to explain as I was not able to find an article on this site that would shed light on it. I believe it goes back to someone commenting how all the rain storms happen to miss the area around the run and people began to comment about flooding, swift water rescue, DRYC (Donaldson Run Yacht Club), etc.

YOU'RE NO SMARTER THAN ME
See post from Rosslynite that started it all
Many thanks for the education and links.
The Trev thread was especially entertaining!
Why hasn't the Donaldson Run thing died yet? It's not particularly funny or anything.
I think Trevor has a bright future here though.
