On my walk to work this morning, I saw a pretty large stain of what looked like dried blood on the sidewalk near the intersection of Adams and Wilson, directly out front of the now-vacant Adam’s Corner restaurant/bar/whatever that place was. Seemed as though it left a dripping pattern (as though the victim was on the move) but not a spatter pattern. There was actually a bit of it smeared on a cigarette butt nearby (in the fashion of a lipstick-stain pattern, only bloodier). Anyone see/hear something that I didn’t?
Just don’t say anything… it’s part of the ongoing degentrification effort.
When would you date the beginning of the de-gentrification effort? 50′s? 60′s? Want your own water fountain?
Bahaha and the award for best off-the-cuff response of the day goes to KalashniKEV! Someday, God willing, it’ll be like circa-1992 Columbia Heights on the mean streets of Courthouse.
