Does anyone know what's going on with this station? I know it has historically been overpriced, at least the most expensive on 4 mile, but it seems to be vacant now. Are there plans to renovate, or just remove the station all together?
I always laughed when I saw people pumping their gas at this station. The Shell next to it and the Exxon down the street are both significantly cheaper.

The Shell is bad too. It was ~30 cents more than the place (Mobil?) by the DMV a few days ago.
The BP has re-opened with good prices ($3.55 regular, same as the Mobil/Chevron? by the DMV). Hasn't influenced the Shell on the other corner — $3.68 yet still busier than the BP.
I always drive by the Exxon at the corner of Glebe and Carlin Springs and laugh as well. Their prices are at least 30 cents more expensive than other gas stations in the area, and yet there are suckers pumping gas there. And the place is ghetto as well – they actually used an upside down 7 and some masking tape to post their outrageous $4+ per gallon prices! I won't go there unless I'm on a teaspoon of gas, and that doesn't happen often. And even then, I put in just enough gas to get me to a reasonably-priced gas station.
