Now that it’s been open a while, the yelp reviews are in and they’re not blowing anyone away.
With all of the other “good” burger spots in the area… how long before this one fails?
Oh, and what’s your experience here?

Underwhelming. The bun was not substantial enough to handle the burger and the toppings were scant and low quality. I will say that the beef had great flavor and they did not overcook it like a lot of the other burger places. No real bacon (turkey bacon only) and no coffee milkshakes. I won’t be back.
That location is going to kill them also. Not enough foot traffic and you can only access the parking lot from one side of Lee Hwy.

This was my contention as well before they opened up and I was bashed on the forum for thinking location had anything to do with the success of a restaurant. Methinks with all of the other high-quality burgers within walking distance of the metros and offices in courthouse and clarendon, there’s no room for a new burger joint a mile away and in the middle of nowhere.
Now that the reviews are up on yelp, it seems they’ve missed the mark on quality and they’re doomed.

as i said when it opened, that location is the bermuda triangle of arlington restaurants. it was just a matter of time. someone should have warned the guy. i saw him when he was working on opening the place up… he was like a dead man walking.
If I’m driving down Lee Highway for food I’m going to Taco Bell, not for a burger.
It’s on Lee Highway between Veitch and Danville across from the “Last Stop For Gas Before DC” gas station, right next to the 7-11.
Thanks. I never noticed it…guess that goes to the point!
I’ll be the minority opinion…I like it. The burger is good, there were plenty of toppings to choose from, the fries (reg and sweet potato) were good too. One time I actually made a U-turn to go there – amazing, I know. They seem to be doing a pretty good business, at least right at lunch time. I haven’t noticed any other time. I think the burgers must be a little smaller than BGR – I don’t feel as horribly stuffed when I finish one.
I liked the burgers there. Not too big. Not too greasy. My only complaint is the cheddar cheese on the B7 burger. American cheese should be the standard on any cheeseburger.

Tell us why you decided to open in that location though? That’s a terrible spot for a burger place. And, could you do something about your employees?

People are allowed to like something you don’t without having some other agenda.
