I was looking for an update on the child hit by a truck near the Westover library. It occured on the corner of 18th street and Longellow. Anyone know? It looked serious. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the child and their family.
I live up the street and saw them doing the investigation and the bike looked pretty messed up. I didn't know it was a kid that got hit. I really hope he/she is ok.
He will recover but he's very banged up: 2 cracked verts, a fractured scapula, and both lungs punctured.
