Construction on Lorcom Lane

Anyone know what's happening down by Spout Run?  It looks like a massive development with only a narrow 2 lane road for access.

good question.  i drive by each day and miss that huge canopy of trees.

two different houses with separate owners were sold.  total of 56,000 in an R-8 district.

the owners had long ago subdivided the property.   if i read the real estate records correctly they can build up to 8 houses there.

very good deal for the buyer to get 8 lots for 2.6 million.

only permits issued so far are for the demolition.

they will probably build houses that are stacked behind each other similar to what is next door already.

Thanks.  I'm concerned about access on to Lorcom Lane, which is narrow for that block.  Will the county have to hold a hearing on it?

Has anyone else noticed that they installed curbs and driveway entrances and paved the new street at this site, but have left the utility pole smack dab in the middle of the entrance?  They just paved around it.  I can't imagine that they will leave it there permanently.  But why do the paving now if you are just going to have to dig the thing out soon anyway?

They did a pretty crap job with the patch jobs after digging up the road too.
