I wouldn’t doubt that his home, car, cellphone records, bank account, etc etc will be gone thru with fine tooth comb. Good point Mr johnny b.

    Update:

Mr. ‘War on Whitey’ has been put on PAID leave….go figure.

Just to show the possibilities, here is a story where an Arlingtonian swiped $900K from his job at the EPA over a 20 year period.

I wonder how long the ‘War’ boy has been procuring weapons?

@ johnny b. I do not condone any of this guy’s actions. But, (my guess is) he is on paid leave because  he has not been found guilty (or charged) with any crime.  It’s not clear yet whether his postings are a crime. There’s a line between free speech, inciting to riot, etc, etc.

Also unclear what his role was in procuring weapons. He could be a low-level “document checker” and nothing more. Of course,  he could have altered contracts, set up his own dummy company, etc.

If the feds find something criminal, I will have no issue with this jerk being prosecuted to the fullest.

He violated DHS policy by lying to his superiors about the nature of his site…..”lectures and videos”. You don’t have to commit a ‘crime’ to be fired from a job. However, in a ‘secure’ position at ICE, lying to your boss should be instant pink slip…especially with the incitement to violence messages of his site.

The way our govt. operates now is called ‘G.O.C.O.’, which means Govt Owned Contractor Operated. (its how President Clinton was able to claim a reduction in govt workforce.)

I doubt a weapons procurement officer is a low level position…the low level jobs are all contractors.

["Ayo Kimathi, an acquisitions officer for Immigration and Customs Enforcement who is in charge of buying weapons and ammunition for the government"
"One of Kimathi's former supervisors at DHS told SPLC's Hatewatch that, "Everybody in the office is afraid of him," and that his co-workers are "afraid he will come in with a gun and someday go postal."The supervisor, who was not named, continued, "I am astounded he's employed by the federal government, let alone Homeland Security.""]

He should have been fired immediately and escorted out by armed security. I’ve seen it happen for less.

He was likely frog walked out of the building. And again, he can’t be fired until an investigation.  BTW, the low level government jobs are not all contractors. From my experience it’s just the opposite. But, it may vary agency to agency, office to office. (But, that isn’t really all that important).

I am willing to bet my dog (yikes!) this guy is fired.

“Was the SPLC not the ones who put the Family Research Council on their "hate target" list which lead to some liberal nutjob trying to shoot up the place and planned on leaving chick fil a with the bodies? They are a "hate" group because they  don't share the liberal agenda?”

No, they are a hate group because of some of their hateful statements and activities, which you could research yourself by looking it up on the SPLC site.

“So why doesn't MSNBC employ anyone from the FRC? They employ Sharpton. Or have you forgotten his actions, like inciting riots, or not saying very kind things about gays, especially greek ones.”

Go ask MSNBC. Otherwise, who cares but you?

“Oh please, they would put you on a "hate" list if you said gay men are more likely to get HIV than the general public.”

    Liar.

People have said that, and SPLC didn’t list their organization as hate groups for that.

You’re a liar who makes up stuff.

@NS asked per Al Sharpton, “Or have you forgotten his actions, like inciting riots, or not saying very kind things about gays, especially greek ones."

PER Wiki: Sharpton’s comments, made in 1994 (almost 20 years ago) were “We taught philosophy and astrology… before…Greek homos ever got around to it.” However now,  Sharpton is a supporter of equal rights for gays and lesbians, including same-sex marriage. He also is leading a grassroots movement to eliminate homophobia within the Black church.

I have not forgotten Sharpton’s words.   I respect him for evaluating his former position and having joined the effort for same-sex civil rights.  As you see, some people with idiotic and ignorant views can evolve. Even, someone as George Wallace. But, only if they have an open mind and are willing to consider the arguments from all sides.

Do you honestly believe Sharpton is pro gay rights? he’s doing that because MSNBC told him to do so so he can keep his job. If Sharpton has “evolved” why is he still a shameless race baiter who would be out of a job if he got what he claims what he wants?

@NS, please substanciate your opinion (above) that Sharpton is not pro gay rights, and that MSNBC told him to take that position. Also substanciate that he is a shameless race baiter who would be out of a job if he got what he wants. Your comment is so vague, and full of questions (yours) that it is meaningless unless backed by facts.

    novasteve August 27, 2013 - 10:34 am #85217 Reply

Do you think MSNBC would employ someone who doesn’t at least say they support gay marriage?

PS, back to the topic, have you heard the speech made at a black church by this DHS guy where he calls Obama a mulatto f*gg*t? The guy still has his job and is being paid..  Interesting how political correctness works.

So now we can simply dismiss whatever anyone says based on our baseless suspicions that they’re only saying it to keep their job?

Enough of your denial crap, steve. Be a man for once in your life and just admit you’re wrong about something.

Also explain why you think a guy like Sharpton would say something he doesn’t believe – when he’s shown he’s willing to say whatever he believes no matter what – just to get a job, and why you think he couldn’t just go get a job a some other place that welcomes homophobia, like Fox.

So you’re saying that political correctness is responsible for PROTECTING someone who called Obama a “mulatto f*gg*t?” Interesting idiotic statement of the day. Seems to me you’d be whining about political correctness if he had been fired immediately for saying something like that.

@NS, interesting. When I (according to you) don’t engage your posts, I am derailing the conversation. But, when I do engage your posts, you refuse to provide any sort of substantive response. Just more questions and vague accustations. And, YOU complain the conversation is off topic! YOU?

@NS, You have little understanding ofthe US justice system or the Federal Employment rules and regulation. As much as I do not condone the indiviual’s actions he has not been charged with a crime or found guilty. Remember “innocent until proven guilty.”
I know of a case of a federal employee put on leave without pay while the authorities investigated an “irregulariy”. After eight months the person was found out not to have committed any wrong doing, and went back to work. It would have been an injustice for her to have gone without pay, lost her home, etc.

Would you rather live in a totalitarian state?
