HOW IS EVERYONE FEELING? GOOD, BAD, HAPPY SAD, TIRED, ANGRY, DRUNK, DEVASTATED, HURT, PLEASED, AGGRAVATED, PROUD, RELIEF, IRATE, EAGER, ANNOYED, EMBARRASSED, CONSTIPATED, PUZZLED, SEXY, LOYAL, FEAR, EXCITED.
one word of your current state about the re-election?
Relieved.
I’d always figured Obama had it in the bag, but some people were starting to get me worried talking about how it would be a really close race, and that we might not know for sure until Wed. or even days later.
I was also somewhat intrigued to see that my favorite election forecasting site, FiveThirtyEight, was pretty much dead on with their predictions. If you look at their State-by-State Probabilities, you’ll see that they’ll be 50 for 50 if FL goes to Obama (undecided at the time of writing, but looks like it’ll go that way). That’s downright uncanny if you ask me.

All the people attacking Nate Silver sure look stupid now.

Finally….no more robo calls and mailings from both parties!
Disappointed (but that would've been my answer no matter what). I'm still looking for a mainstream candidate (that has a shot to win) that combines some Democratic social views (pro-gay rights and pro-choice) with some Republican fiscal policies (lower taxes for everyone, prudent government spending). I'd imagine is a candidate leaned slightly across the aisle, the election would almost become a formality.
ANNOYED – by people that use all caps! And think animal aliases are clever. And policy bots! Jesus tap-dancing Christ…
Seriously, how important is gay rights and abortion to liberals? Is the population 50% gay and 100% of women have abortions as a form of birth control?

It's about the RIGHT to do something. Straight people can believe gay people have the RIGHT to get married.

What says they have ar right to get married? Never in the history of humanity has any society until a couple years ago let two people of the same sex marry each other. Marriage is for men and women, it's always been that way. What you want is to change it when you could simply use another word for it. Instead, like screaming children, you want what someone else has (And completely ignore the majority of people losing their rights to the nanny state liberals banning everything they don't like). If straights started calling marriage “Dell Computer” then gays would start demanding to have “Dell Computer”..
What does it say about this society when you have libs catering to tiny m inorities, but banning everything theyd on't like? I can't even by a mother fucking 100 watt bulb anymore, or can buy a 32 oz coke in NYC because some liberal dispshit doesn't think is hould be allowed to. But two dudes can marry?

The issue is that federal law likes to use the word “married.” Same-sex couples want the same rights as different-sex couples. It’s a civil right issue–an equality issue–not the desire to supplant your lifestyle with their own.
