Harry's Tap Room: Swingers & Casual Encounters?
  • courthound May 16, 2013 - 12:43 pm #73673 Reply

After reading about the LBJ story recalled about hearing an interesting and juicy nugget that Harry’s Tap Room was known as The Place for swingers and “casual encounters.”

Does anyone else know anything about this?

WEll if it was true, it didn’t help business obviously.

I think LBJ park should be renamed to El BJ park.

    Let’s rename the park,

    “The Walter Jenkins Man-Grove.”

Gives a new meaning to the 1964 Election slogan, “All the Way with LBJ!”

Possible. I thought it was a match.com meeting spot. I’d be sitting there waiting for a friend and men would approach me. “Melissa?” “Jenny?”

Seems weird that they’d not know what the person looked like, so maybe it was craigslist instead.

It’d be interesting to see if this thread had any impact on sales.

^^  Harry’s Tap Room was two restaurants ago. It was Market Tavern for a hot second and now it’s Fuego.

The real swingers  go to the South Riding Inn in Loudoun County.
