Is Chiptole the pioneer? When will others follow?

Okay, so, Chipotle is now taking my challenge by offering something that NO national chain is offering – a vegan option. I predict its revenue will increase. The question is not about if others will follow, but rather when.

Folks, we are facing a major healthcare crisis. ObamaCare is not a solution. It is PersonalCare/MyChoiceCare. With busy life-styles, it is strange that restaurants are just NOW starting to comprehend what they must DO. Thankfully, Chipotle is taking this giant leap for Americans.

Here is hoping that ARL’s Chipotle branches start this option soon, very soon.

Didn’t they always offer burritos without the meat?

Yes. No meat does not equal vegan.

How? Rice and beans in a burrito isn’t vegan ?

From the Chipotle website, Vegans should   avoid our pinto beans (they are cooked with a small amount of bacon), meats (obviously), cheese, sour cream, and chipotle-honey vinaigrette”

Wait, did Chipotle specifically respond to your challenge, or was there a group of folks lobbying for this change?

Getting it with black beans still is vegan, so they had a vegan option all of this time.

AKB is suffering from vegan induced dementia.

A glass of water and a pinch of salt is also a vegan “option” – doesn’t make it good enough.

Read the article. Chipotle is giving vegans (and vegetarians) more than black beans to eat. Really not a bad thing, AKB’s dementia notwithstanding.

Rice, black beans, salsa, fajita vegetables = vegan. They have always had a vegan option. Avoid the pink beans. They are not vegan. But I am happy for the new additions to the menu.

Sansa, the black beans, rice, and salsa is vegan. It has always been vegan. That option has always been on the menu.

I repeat – just because there are a few vegan things on the menu doesn’t make them good options. Vegans want flavor and variety too. Nothing wrong with giving them that.
