I’m not even going to tell you to back to work because I’m on here during my lunch hour, but..
do you ever give it a rest? This is in no way relevant to Arlington, NoVA, DC, Virginia at large…
I mean, you do nice things like help look for people’s lost pets. You’re not a horrible person.
But this liberal witch hunt thing you’ve got going on, especially when the issues have nothing to do with you/where you live…chill out a bit. Have some decaf, take a nap, do some yoga.
(I will, however, say that this is incredibly stupid and schools in general need to get a grip on themselves. And that's not a liberal vs. conservative thing, I went to high school in North Carolina, land o' conservatives, and my school constantly pulled all sorts of regulatory b.s. “to be fair to everyone.”)
So am I fabricating these stories? These are real things liberals do to take away things from other people because they think they know best and that their views are the only valid ones. Things they like must be mandated, things they dont' like must be banned after they are heavily taxed. I'm not taking aawya anyone's rights like liberals do. And they do it because they are smug, self righteous shits who think they know what's best for everyone.

And, in hopes that no students are left out, those kids who are home sick will have a school representative come to their home and perform this butt-wiping. Too far. You seriously went too far there. I was actually going to try and attempt a discussion at why these things happen, not because “liberals” or “conservatives” are behind them, but because people everywhere suck, but you just went too far. I think it's sad that insulting others is apparently the only thing that gives you real joy (aside from smoking).

It's really sad, isn't it, the lengths that schools go to with the whole “every kid is a special snowflake” thing? That's what's going to be the real downfall of our success as a society.
I hope one day I can live in a liberal free society where I can dance with my daughter while smoking inside a bar.

yep, all our kids are becoming giant wussies. If these educators actually cared about kids, they would take the effort to teach them how failure, humility, etc. can make them stronger.
And speaking to the article again, that single woman who complained in the first place needs to get a life and stop taking her issues of being a single parent out on a school system that is obviously trying to promote a family-oriented event. Did she actually think her daughter would not be allowed into this dance cause she didnt have a male figure with her ??
