LOST PUG/Chihuahua Mix – Have you seen her?
  • patricia603 April 11, 2013 - 8:17 am #70437 Reply

Have you seen KC?  Please call or text 917-622-3151 with location of where you saw her.

She is scared around strangers – so please approach quietly.

She was wearing a pink multi-color harness.

    Thank you!

Hi Patricia – I am sorry you lost your dog!  Please give us some more info (where she was last seen, when, etc.) so we can keep our eyes out.  Will she approach other dogs?

    Good luck!

I agree with CourtLady.  Regardless, I’ll keep an eye out!

Last seen near Walter Reade and Four Mile Run, Wednesday at 5pm.

She will be timid around other dogs but may approach them.

    Thank you!

I emailed this forum link to my friend that lives in that area.  I hope you find your dog!  There is an animal shelter close to this area too – be sure to check there regularly (you might have to actually go there to make sure your dog isn’t there).  Also notify vets in the area in case someone picks her up and brings her in.

KC, the Lost Pug/Chihuahua mix, has been FOUND!!!!  We used a dog tracker, Pure Gold Pet Trackers, and lots and lots of flyers in the neighborhood where she was sighted.

Thank you all for your concern.  She is doing fine and is just very tired.

What a lovely end to this story! Thanks for sharing.

A while ago, I read a story about cat finding its way home (go to: http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/01/19/one-cats-incredible-journey/).

As I was reading your story, I thought I hope the dog makes it way home.

Yes, AWLA helped and set a trap, which had Friskies and hot hamburger in it, which they said a dog can smell over one mile away.  She almost made it into the trap, but a raccoon scared her away. She was found 5 minutes later in a backyard where a woman had called in to animal control that she thought she saw a trapped possom. Animal Control showed up and caught her. It was a traumatizing experience for all of us but I’m overjoyed that she is back.
