Mystery of the bags of bread
  • novasteve April 4, 2013 - 9:51 am #69897 Reply

Any theories about how there are two bags of bread (looks like hogie style) got to the corner of Barton and Fairfax right next to the temporary  fence that is up there for the park renovation?

LOL. I have a feeling the bread is very stale. Could be used as weapons.

I believe the bread may belong to the dude who “fists” you.

I’m surprised birds haven’t gotten to it yet.

Must be as stiff as turtle shells, hence why the birds aren’t bothering.

Must be subway bread, because it is still there and still looks like bread without decay.

Did anyone else see the Happy Meal blog a few years back? Someone bought a Happy Meal at McDonald’s and they took a photo of it everyday for a year. It remained remarkably unchanged throughout the entire year. It shrunk a little but it never got moldy. At the end of the year it still looked completely edible. The power of chemicals I suppose.

Criminy! I know way more about maggots than I should now! I love how the neighbors didn’t find it for so long.

Even soaked this morning, the bread still looks amazingly just like it did last week. There was even a car accident right next to the bags of bread.

I wonder if Arlnow should investigate this. Is it prop  bread? THere’s something unnatural about it, but why is it even there? You don’t hoften see two huge paper bags full of bread on a sidewalk.

I recently  took a look at the bread in question and it looks just like the kind of bread that is served in Prague on the trolley.

Why don’t you just clean it up Steve?

Might be an art project or something.
