I don’t know who to thank for them but my wife and I grateful to person who got those pedestrian crossing signs posted on Barton Street at Fairfax Drive. Also, the new sign on Clarendon near Danville is appreciated.

The bags of bread are still there too. Noticed those new signs. I bet the drivers still won’t let pedestrians cross though.

I had not noticed the bags of bread (so I headed over to the thread).

The signs seem to be working. Of course there will be those who will fly down Barton at 50 MPH and dare you to step in front of them.

Yield to pedestrians in crosswalk doesn’t mean stop and let them cross. It just means don’t hit them if they’ve already started crossing.

I’m digging the signs and hope it slows people down.  I watch cars fly up and down Barton constantly from my apartment.
