New Spanish Restaurant coming to “new” Courthouse

1776 Wilson Boulevard (across from the soon to be home of Ben’s Chilli Bowl):

    100 Montaditos

This ad brought to you by 100 Montaditos and “new” Courthouse.

“New” Courthouse? LOL! That’s hilarious. There’s not even a Starbucks in “new” Courthouse. It’s still old and busted no matter how many new buildings are going up. There’s simply nothing there.

Definitely not interested in “new” Courthouse, “old” Courthouse, or 100 Montaditos… though I do like Spanish food.

Pretty sure ARLNow had a bit about this a few months ago.  Some of the sandwiches at 100 Montaditos sound good though, but “New Courthouse” – that’s just lame.

This is a great update except for the fact that area is Rosslyn, not Courthouse.  New or Old.

Not so fast, Ben’s Chili Bowl is in Rosslyn. Across Wilson Blvd would be Fort Myer Heights, not Rosslyn.

Maybe that’s what the OP meant… perhaps Fort Myer Heights neighborhood is the “new” Courthouse?

Still might be the funniest thing I’ve heard someone try to pimp around here.

Why not just call it “New Los Angeles” or “New Manhattan?” I mean, is Courthouse really that impressive that you’d want to be living in the “new” version of it? LOL!

you guys are pretty sensitive about the new courthouse line.  Perhaps sarcasm doesn’t translate via forum posts.

Fort Meyer Heights is the new Park Slope.

Virginia Square is the “new” Lyon Park.
Ballston is the “new” Waverly Hills.
Clarendon is the “new” Halls Hill.

This place sounds good! I like the idea of a variety of tiny sandwiches to snack on. And Brava sauce on a sandwich? Yum, yum!

Oh yay another ridiculous pseudo European chain. This time in a made up neighborhood too!

Can’t wait to try authentic Spanish philly cheese steaks, hotdogs, smoked salmon, BBQ and brie sandwiches.

Atleast it’s not another UpAndAway Burger 17 chain place
