Over the weekend we fixed our pageview count functionality, which has been severely under-counting the views on most stories since the launch of our redesigned site this past fall. Most posts after Jan. 3 should now have updated, accurate pageview counts. Some bugs remain, however. For instance, we’re currently examining at a bug that seems to produce incorrect view counts when an article is first published. Thank you for your patience with us as we continue to work out that and other known issues on the site.
was wondering about those numbers since the redesign. i think sometimes if you’re using a wordpress caching plugin to speed up load times it can skip views from non-commenting page loads.
Judging from the page counts, you need to do more goatse huffer stories.
I seem to be having significant problems commenting on the site. I can’t add a comment to a story unless I am signed in. But I just tried to add a new forum thread on this topic and it’s not showing up. What is going on?
