Police Activity in Rosslyn Thursday Night

Looking for more information on police activity in Rosslyn area last night. Scanner said that police were looking for 4 black males between Oak Street and Pierce Street on the North side of 50 (towards Clarendon Blvd). Police had also called in Robbery/Homicide detectives for 2 victims, unclear if mugged or murdered. The scale of police involved and use of K-9s suggest it was more than a mugging. As of 11pm, police had 2 of the 4 in custody. Males were said to be either in high-school or recently graduated.

I was listening in on the scanner too.  Heard they were all recent YHS grads who had gotten to the area by metro.  Also heard two were in custody and at least one more took off running down Pierce toward Route 50. I have pics of the police talking to two young men, unclear if they were the  victims you mention (I assume so since they weren’t in handcuffs).  Interested in seeing if anyone knows anything else.

Definitely had at least one in custody, saw one black teen handcuffed and on the sidewalk on Oak Street near Pierce.  Waiting for the Arlington Crime Report to come out later today for yesterday.

Weird that it hasn’t appeared on the Crime Report.  It’s almost as if … it never happened!

Looks like a similar incident occurred this past Thursday. I live right next to this park and always remark how poorly lit it is. http://news.arlingtonva.us/crime-report:-july-12-2013

@westwilsonmafia: I believe you know more information than you are disclosing.  Time to come clean and spill the dope and rehabilitate yourself. :-)
