PS Circulation

Has anyone noticed two gentlemen in your neighborhood selling magazines for “PS Circulation LLC”?  They pitch this as a charitable organization but a simple search on Google shows quite a few posts that allude to this being a scam.  I’ve seen them in my neighborhood for the past 3 days and am curious if other areas of Arlington are being visited as well.  If you do see them come to your door, I recommend doing some research before you hand over a cash or check…

YES.  And they were extremely aggressive and rude when we said we weren’t interested.

Don’t admit to any financial crimes in front of them. Especially something that skims just fractions off of a cent from things.

They come to my neighborhood every spring for several years.  Now I just ask to see their Arlington County solicitors license; which they are required to have but, of course, never do.  As noted above, some of them have launched into profanity-laden tirades when rejected.

They were in Clarendon last weekend. Luckily I’ve never had one become belligerent with me. He just kept asking as if he didn’t understand when I said I wasn’t interested. Maybe more of us should start calling the ACPD when these guys come around. I guarantee you that NONE of them have a solicitors permit.

It’s safe to assume that ALL door-to-door magazine sales are a scam.
