Not everyone gets searched. It's just random, hence why the search is pointless. If you had 4 terrorists with bombs and they search 1 of them, the other 3 get by. Also, if you are wearing an explosive belt, it's not in a bag, hence it won't get discovered in a bag search.

Only someone of very low intelligence thinks bag searches will actually make them safer given not everyone searched, and that only bags are searched. How is it out or prortion? I get treated like a criminal while Metro employers give terrorists ways to kill people? You realize how much they spend on those bomb resistant garbage pails after years of not having any garbage pails? Yet they provide a method for terrorists to kill people by not beothering to close and lock the display case? I constantly see these display cases open. I guaranty you that case at Courthouse metro will be left open for several more days.
