There used to be such great articles in ArlNow about local restaurant openings. I haven’t seen any stories like this in a long time. What happened?
The other day I saw two new restaurants getting ready to open in Ballston on Glebe – Red Parrot and Il Forno. What other places are coming soon?

Why write articles when you can get people to write them for you and just call them “Opinion” pieces?

I do wish the opinion stuff would get moved somewhere else because it’s clogging up the real news. But I also understand that it’s easier to sell that stuff when you can tell then that the number of arlnow.com pageviews is the number of pageviews on their article, as opposed to being on an opinion page which by definition would likely get fewer views.
I would like to know the story about the closure of Tivoli in Rosslyn, as close to a local institution as you can get in Rosslyn. I also notice that there is a new Thai place opening near the Miracles Hair Salon. Any one know any details?
