Sisqo at Mad Rose last night?

Did anyone see the show last night?  How many times did he play the “Thong Song”??

Whoa, hang on a sec there, Tony.  You make it sound as though Sisqo is some sort of one trick pony.  Old school Sisqo fans know that Unleash the Dragon was a masterpiece of an album.  Posers only know the Thong Song.  Perhaps you were unaware of classic Sisqo jams from this landmark album including, but not limited to, Is Love Enough (featuring LovHer), How Can I Love U 2Nite, and Your Love is Incredible.  If you’s a true player, Tony, you wouldn’t ask such ridiculous questions.

My apologies to Hank, Sisqo, and his legions of fans across northern Virginia.  Unleash the Dragon will be my next iTunes purchase unless you think I should try and find it in vinyl?

Don’t forget about him crushing the chorus to Wild Wild West.  Some say he is responsible for Will Smith’s movie star status.

That’s a good question, Arlingtony, and one worthy of a response.  You really redeemed yourself.  Normally I’d say you HAVE to buy the album on vinyl (or wax cylinder if you can find it).  But Unleash the Dragon is a different breed and needs to be played in the manner in which it was intended: in a 1992 Honda Civic you paid $4,000 for and upgraded with $18,000 worth of ground effects, xtreme graphyx, and Pioneer audio equipment.  Ideally, you should cruise down to either of the raddest regions in the United States (south Florida or the Inland Empire region of southern California) and blast this bad boy.  Only then will you know what it means to “unleash the dragon.”

“upgraded with $18,000 worth of ground effects”

Does that mean the Honda is a lowrider?

It certainly does.  You wouldn’t want to be caught dead in anything where there is more than a one inch gap between the bottom of your door and the concrete.

Sisqo, and now a former Pussycat Doll, how does the Mad Rose manage to pull in such uber talent to our quiet Virginia backwater?

That’s a good question, Broseph.  Way to redeem yourself.  Ordinarily I would say you HAVE to buy the album on vinyl (or wax cylinder if you can find it).  However, Unleash the Dragon is a different breed, and you have to listen to it the way Sisqo intended: in a 1992 Civic you paid $4,000 for and pumped $18,000 worth of ground effects, xtreme graphyx, and after market Pioneer audio equipment.  If you have time, cruiseto the most bitchin’ places in the US (southern Florida and the Inland Empire region of southern California), and turn it up.  Only then will you know what it means to unleash the dragon.
