Just wanted to let you all know that United Social Sports is bringing lots of options to Arlington residents. This winter, we have everything from bar sports like Skeeball, Cornhole and Shuffleboard, to team sports like Soccer and Volleyball. The soccer leagues are even Polar Bear leagues for the diehard players.
Anyways, if any of you all are interested in playing, check out this link and look for the VA leagues to register with friends or join on your own to meet new folks: http://unitedsocialsports.com/winter-registration-2013/
Enjoy!
I figured something called “cornhole” would be really popular in Arlington.
Steve, why don’t you sign up for one of the leagues and do something social and fun for once? Instead of being anti-everything Arlington all the time.
No way, keep him away. I don’t want any human like him on a team that I’d be on.
If you had decent stuff on Sundays or Mondays when I have the time off I would love to
(sorry volleyball stinks) DODGEBALL anyone?350sbc do you throw hissy fits if you find out anyone in the same building as you isn’t a democrat?

All the conservatives are “doing” it.
Steve, believe it or not, not everyone who disagrees with you, or dislikes what you post on the site, is a raving, flamboyant, hipster, snobbish liberal. I have many friends from both major political parties, from the more conservative part of the Republican party to the more liberal wing of the Democratic party. I understand that reasonable adults can disagree on important issues. But what I and many others don’t like is the never-ending bitterness, the hate speech (yes, it is hate speech) and the obsessive complaints that you are continually being wronged by a particular group (i.e., liberals).
Steve, you’ve been throwing hissyfits for 2 years because most people in Arlington aren’t right-wing Republicans. Why not take up a sport and get in shape? It doesn’t have to be one of the social sports. Exercise would get you in better shape and it would get you doing something positive for once, instead of obsessively fixating about liberals all the time and posting on ARLnow all day long.
