Just noticed last night that the Tivoli Deli and Bakery in Rosslyn is closed. They have multiple signs all over their windows saying they were going out of business and moving to Watergate Pastry in D.C. I didn’t go there often, but I did enjoy their baked goods, sandwiches and cakes. Also the staff was very pleasant. I hate to see another local business in Rosslyn go away, especially in the same building that has had a vacant food court for the past few years.
The Ballston location is still open. I love the breakfast sandwiches and the deli items
That is disappointing. I hope the Ballston one stays open, because I go there a lot for last minute dinner items and the occasional dessert or deli item. Although in the past couple of months I did notice a little less variety and inventory in the cases.
I really like a good deli like Tivoli’s. I wish they had a location in pentagon city/crystal city. I do see people during lunch time, maybe they will stay open.
That is a shame….I worked in Rosslyn during the 80′s and 90′s and would pick up dinner on my way home from there on quite a few nights….nice folks.
Any idea as to why they are closing ??
