I realize this website is capitalism, which is a great thing, though it would be a great community service if you would put these missing animals on the front page so more people could be exposed. If it weren't in your financial interests, but look how cute these doggies are, Quinn, then Bentley. Perhaps a fund could be set up to provide hopefully discounted space to put it on the front page so these animals can be returned to their families? I'd gladly contribute to this fund. I wish I could do web design, as I realize time is money for you guys, because the time you would do on this, even pro bono, would be time away from something else, but look how cute they are. If you can't do it pro bono, how about a reasonable cost semi pro bono thing you could do from donations, which I'll gladly contribute to?
With the number of pet lovers in Arlington, this could be a great idea. Anyone ever been on PetAmberAlert.com? Saddest thing. Just type in your zip code and be blown away by the list of missing animals. Very sad.
I would think something on the front page will get more views, and the more people who see it, the better. Perhaps even just a flashing clickable link, like the type you see on CNN for breaking news, scrolling by, wouldn't have to take up that much room.
There is some real estate in the top menu of buttons, maybe the best of both worlds and make it a different color if there is an active member's pet out? Or combine the crime and event map and add missing pets?
