Virginia's very own version of Todd "Legitimate Rape" Akin

Candidate for VA Atty Gen, Mark Obenshain, introduced a bill in 2009 to mandate that any woman who suffers a miscarriage must report it to the police or risk jail time.  My god, where do they find these people?  Are they just begging for more “war on women” advertisements?  And why on earth did he win the nomination?

You guys must be proud to be members of the party that worships abortion. millions of deaths due to being inconvenient. YOu surely are the moral superior here.

abortion is not your call, by the way.  Woman can do whatever she wants with her body, especially if there is a danger to it.  But hey, women must keep rape babies cause its our feel good moment.

Another example of “I disagree with it, so I’m right and YOU are wrong.

I’m going to ask you a straight question, steve, and I’d appreciate a straight answer:

Do you believe all women who have miscarriages should be required to report it to police, with jail time if they fail?

    Yes or no.

What are you talking about Steve?  Do you think women who have miscarriages should be required by law to report their miscarriages to the police?  I thought you hated stuff like that!

Can a woman use drugs, sell an organ, engage in prostitution? Okay to start backpeddling now.

No. But that’s not a constitutional right. Why are you guys fine with democrats proposing laws that abridge people’s second amendment rights? And now the left apparently even hates the first amendment as well.

can you read CO? What is the FIRST word of my respond? I’m sure somehow you’ll blame me for your oversight though. pretend I didn’t write that first word.

relax bro, your response didn’t show up on my screen when I was typing mine.

And lets give a shout out to you for actually answering a question !

So Steve, you disagree with this guy, but you took the opportunity to attack Democrats anyway. And you’re bringing up unrelated topics like the 1st and 2nd amendment, and lying about what Democrats actually support. We’ve gone over this before, but every time you try and articulate what you think Democrats support, you’re always, without fail wrong. If you say “Democrats want to…” I already know what you’re about to say is false, because you’ve never actually learned, despite many attempts to teach you, what real Democrats support. The fantasy Democrats who exist in your head aren’t real- or perhaps they’re a tiny, tiny minority of the party. Real Democrats have views that are totally different than your made-up, fantasy Democrats.

My point was, is that you guys have no problem having it be MAINSTREAM to want to strip away constitutional rights. You have no issue treating gun owners or potential gun owners as criminals merely for exercising their constitutional rights. And what’s the big deal about this? It didn’t pass. Yet democrats like you keep on reelecting Jim Moran. Like you are ones to talk.

Answer me this question since you guys think abortion as a form of birth control is a fundamental right, one of the most important issues of our time. If a mother can kill her own child because it is merely inconvenient, what does that say about society, and do you think it would be easier or more difficult for someone to kill a complete stranger as a result? Think. If someone can kill their own child because it is inconvenient, what do you think that person could do to a complete stranger since you don’t think killing your own child as a form of birth control is even morally questionable? Think that’s going to result well for society?

    iiandyiiii May 20, 2013 - 12:36 pm #73942 Reply

Steve- no, Democrats do not want to strip away constitutional rights.  Democrats (in general) don’t believe that expanding background checks (which already exist and are CONSTITUTIONAL, by the way) strips away any constitutional rights.  So you’re incorrect about that.

To answer the questions in your next paragraph, no I don’t think abortion has anything to do with murder.  For one thing, women (including women who have had abortions) commit far fewer murders than men.  I think the only way to look at abortion is that any person, man or woman, has the right to expel anything that’s inside their bodies if they want it out.  It doesn’t matter what it is, and it doesn’t matter how it got there.  Whether it’s a balloon filled with drugs, a zygote, or a tiny little dude who crawled into your body while you were sleeping, you have the right to expel that thing in your body if you want it out- even if it won’t survive outside of your body.  So I believe the right to abortion is an issue of bodily autonomy, and one that men already enjoy.

bringing up unrelated topics and lying…doesn’t sound like him at all, nope he never does that, never, ever….

Women get abortions for many more reasons than inconvenience.

Abortions are usually performed by doctors, not the pregnant woman herself.  So your analogy should be comparing people who hire hitmen to kill people.

Andy, now you’re just making stuff up.  Men already “enjoy” the right to “expel that thing”??  WTF does that mean?  And just so we’re clear, you apparently believe that a late-term abortion is OK too?
