Water pressure is lower than usual – anyone else?
  • Lauren June 25, 2012 - 4:44 pm #51313 Reply

It seems that every summer the pressure of the water at our house seems to drop.  Some days it is more than others, but it happens consistently in the summer. It just started happening again this year.  Has anyone else noticed this?

Any ideas why?  I assume people use more water for their yards, pools, bathing, etc.

    Thanks –

Are you in Madison/Rock Spring/Country Club Hills? There will be significant water main work in the area for another year or so.

sorry – I'm not Steve, but I also hope he (and his Mom) are OK.

I live in South Arlington, near Columbia Pike and George Mason.

I've noticed the same thing – didn't think much of it until I saw this post, but my water pressure is indeed lower.  I'm also in the Columbia Pike area.

thanks Cate – maybe it's because of the number of people that live in this area.  At least I hope it means we are all taking daily showers in this heat Laugh
