I don’t know but I don’t like the new system at all.
Why do I get hell for asking a question referring to a secret entrance to a place not in arlington county?
i get a strange message saying my browser isn’t supported, even thought it’s IE 9. Weird.
I can’t even read (nor post) comments anymore; must be blocked on the network I’m on. Every article says “No Comments” for me.
Says the same for me. Everything says “No Comments”
Can we get some help from the web team here?!?!?!?
Eventually those whose browsers or networks block access to Disqus will be able to see — but not post — comments. We’re ironing out a few bugs in implementing that — hopefully a fix will be in place by the end of next month.
Questions for those who cannot see Disqus comments:
1. Which web browser are you using?
2. Are you connected on a network that utilizes any content filtering?
3. Are you using an AdBlock plugin?Answer to arlnow.com:
1. IE 9
2. I’m sure there is content filtering of some sort (gov’t computer). No issues with commenting/reading comments in the past.
3. No adblock, as far as I can tell.
Is your browser set to load pages in “compatibility mode?” If so, turn that off.

Another user just emailed to say that comments do not show up if you’re using the “NoScript” add-on. If you’re using that, you need to add disqus.com to your whitelist.
Not a fan of having 2 separate logins for the forum and articles
Agree with CrystalMikey. The whole thing continues to be needlessly cumbersome. Why would you have to login to every single thread in order to post a negative downvote, but you don’t have to do that for an upvote? Are you keeping track of people who downvote?
