We’re working on follow-up articles about Patrick Murray and Washington Golf Center for later today tomorrow. For the time being, however, it seems like there’s not much going on.

… or is there?

Let us know in the comments section if there’s something you think we should be covering.

  • Well the Orange Line was horribifying once again this morning. But I guessing that taint news.

What’s going on with the vacant lot that used to be Dremos/Taco Bell? Did the developer whose half finished building over on Lee Hwy in Cherrydale ever complete or fix the building– or did the county win the property?

    • Tom

I saw people working on the building today. I heard that a technical solution was found to the structural problem and that a new private investor had bought the building and was making the changes to fulfill the projects original plan as apartment or condos.

  • Enjoy the peace and quiet. It won’t last. 🙂

Definitely a slow day – moving slow after last night’s festivities at Nationals Park.

What’s the story on the BJ’s on Wilson Blvd? Are they ever going to finish it.

Speaking of finishing buildings – whats going on with the one across-ish from Safeway in Cherrydale – it looked like it picked back up, but doesn’t seem to be progressing.

Whhooops, strike that 2nd question – I see someone already answered it.

so, more on the Republican primary: how much does it cost the taxpayers to run that election? How much per vote? (2.6% turnout). Does the party have free choice between a caucus and an election, with all those precincts staffed all day? Anybody who complains about government spending and runs a primary like that, shows contempt for the public, when they could easily have held a party caucus.

Any idea what is going on in North Arlingotn on Lee Highway and N. Tazewell? There used to be a vacant building that used to have a Miles Glass but they bulldozed the whole thing flat. Any idea what is going there? Retail? Apts? Restaurants?

Tuesday afternoon near the Chain Bridge the emergency crews were investigating light blue residue in one of the tsanding water pools between the Potomac River and C&O canal towpath. Since it’s across the river, it’s not Arlignton anymore, but would be still very interested to hear what they found.
