Crime Report: Bus Driver Assaults Women

Last Wednesday, according to the latest Arlington County crime report, a bus driver assaulted two women after one of the women tossed a drink at him.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 07/13/10, 800 block of N. Randolph Street. On July 13 at 1:15 pm, a bus driver assaulted two women after one of the women threw a soda at him. Joseph Milliner, 40, of Temple Hills, MD, was charged with two counts of Assault and Battery. He was released on his own recognizance.

CARJACKING, 07/13/10, 1100 block of S. 18th Street. On July 13 at 10:30 pm, a woman driving with a female passenger pulled into a residential garage. When they exited the vehicle, two unknown men approached displaying handguns. The suspects stole their purses and drove off in the vehicle. The suspects are described as African American men in their late teens to early 20’s. They were wearing dark clothing and masks covering their faces. The vehicle was later recovered in Washington D.C.

BRANDISHING-ARREST, 07/15/11, 4800 block of S. 28th Street. On July 15 at 12:10 am, two male roommates argued and one brandished a loaded weapon at the other. Jared Broach, 26, of Arlington, was charged with Brandishing a Weapon. He was released on his own recognizance.

ROBBERY, 07/14/10, 800 block of S. Florida Street. On July 13 at 11 pm, a man was sitting in a park playing a game on his cell phone when two suspects assaulted him and stole his phone. The suspects are both African American males.

ROBBERY, 07/17/11, 4200 block of N. Pershing Drive. On July 17 at 6 am, an intoxicated man was taken to the hospital with injuries he stated occurred during a robbery. The victim said that two unknown men assaulted him and stole his phone and cash. There is no suspect description.

ROBBERY, 07/18/11, 4300 block of Wilson Boulevard. On July 17 at 11:30 pm, a restaurant manager was closing up the office and two unknown men gained access to the office. One displayed a handgun and demanded money. Once the suspects received cash, they fled. The only description of the suspects is that they were men wearing all dark clothing with ski masks covering their faces.

ROBBERY, 07/19/11, 1700 block of Wilson Boulevard. On July 19 at 4:30 pm, a woman was walking when an unknown man rode past her on a bicycle. He pulled her purse from her shoulder and continued. The suspect is described as an African American male with long dreadlocks wearing a purple v-neck shirt and jeans.

ABDUCTION WITH INTENT TO DEFILE-ARREST, 07/16/11, 4600 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive. On July 16 at 3 am, a woman was walking home when an intoxicated man knocked her to the ground and pulled at her clothing. The victim struggled and yelled for help and two witnesses assisted her. The suspect was located by police. Ervin Nimatus-Vasquez, 29, of no fixed address, was charged with Abduction with the Intent to Defile. He was held without bond.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 07/17/11, 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard. On July 17 at 2 am, an intoxicated man was punched at a bar by an unknown subject and transported to the hospital.

ASSAULT ON POLICE-ARREST, 07/19/11, 2800 block of S. Randolph Street. On July 19 at 12:20 am, an intoxicated and disorderly man assaulted two police officers who were removing him from a bar at the manager’s request. Glen Hochkeppel, 43, of Ashburn, was charged with two counts of Assault and battery on Law Enforcement, Drunk in Public, Trespassing and Resisting Arrest. He was held without bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 07/14/11, 1100 block of Arlington Boulevard. On July 14 at 2 pm, an intoxicated man spit on another man. David Mulford, 25, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery. He was held until sober.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 07/19/11, 1100 block of Wilson Boulevard. On July 19 at 2:30 am, an intoxicated man stated that a homeless man assaulted him. The victim described the suspect as an African American male in his 40’s, wearing a white shirt, white pants and a black tie.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY-ARREST, 07/19/11, 3700 block of Columbia Pike. On July 19 at 11:30 pm, a man assaulted another man. Carlos Enrique, 26, of Arlington was charged with Assault and battery. He was held on a $2,500 bond.

ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 07/19/11, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. On July 19 at 3:30 pm, a man threw liquid at two female bank employees while they were assisting a customer with the ATM. The women were not seriously injured. The suspect is described as a white Hispanic male in his 20’s with long curly hair in a ponytail, 5’5″. He was wearing a blue and white striped shirt, black pants and carried a red backpack.

BURGLARY, 07/14/11, 4300 block of N. Carlin Springs Road. On July 14 between 8 am and 6 pm, an unknown subject entered an apartment and stole laptop computers. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 07/15/11, 1700 block of N. Quinn Street. On July 15 between 8:45 am and 6:30 pm, an unknown subject entered an apartment and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

BURGLARY, 07/18/11, 1200 block of S. Eads Street. On July 18 between noon and 3 pm, an unknown subject entered an apartment and stole various items. There are no known suspects.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 07/14/11, 4300 block of Columbia Pike. On July 14 between 8:45 am and 10:30 am, an unknown subject entered an apartment and let the resident’s dog out. No items were taken and there is no suspect description.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 07/17/11, 800 block of Army Navy Drive. On July 17 between 3:30 pm and 4 pm, an unknown subject broke into at least two vehicles in a mall parking garage. Clothing was stolen from both vehicles. There are no known suspects.
