Cafe AsiaHunger is No Joke Fundraiser
Cafe Asia (1550 Wilson Blvd)
Time: 8:00-11:00 p.m.

90s cover band White Ford Bronco plays at Cafe Asia for its annual “Hunger is No Joke” fundraiser. All proceeds go to AFAC. Tickets are $30 each or $55 for two, and there will be raffles and a silent auction.

Artisan Crafts Show

Women Entrepreneurs: Community, Accountability and Networking hosts a crafts fair for female artisans. Woman-owned food businesses will also be represented.

AFAC celebrates 25th anniversaryShred for Bread
Little Falls Presbyterian Church (6025 Little Falls Road)
Time: 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Little Falls Presbyterian is hosting residents looking to shred their documents for free, and soliciting food and cash donations to the Arlington Food Assistance Center.

A fundraiser for Doorways for Women & Families, hosted by an Ohio-based foundation, comes to Clarendon. Admission is $30: there will be a DJ, and Lyon Hall will be catering hors d’oeuvres and drinks.

The Summer 2024 STEAM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Arts/Math) Fellowship application is now open! Apply by April 15 to be considered!

The STEAM Workforce Development Teacher Fellowship provides Arlington Public Schools (APS) high school, middle school, and elementary school teachers with opportunities to learn about workplace needs in STEAM-related fields and for them to use the experience to enhance student learning to match workplace expectations in a selected industry. STEAM Fellows participate in a three-week summer fellowship, receiving a $4,000 stipend upon completion.

Applicants planning to pursue a fellowship in the arts must demonstrate how they will build connections between the arts and science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
