The 39th annual Leeway Overlee Community Day and Yard Sale takes place along the John Marshall Drive/Ohio Street greenway on Saturday, June 3rd from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The community will be out in force to exchange information and greetings, sell unneeded household items, and pick up a few bargains. The civic association has arranged live music for the event as in past years.
Over 100 families set up tables for the festivities, which take place along the six-block stretch of the greenway between Lee Highway and Washington Boulevard. Vehicle traffic will be restricted on the dead end section of N. Ohio Street north of N. 20th Street during the greenway event.
Cost for yard sale sellers is $5. The amount will be collected by a civic association officer between 10 a.m. and noon. Space along the greenway is available on a first-come, first served basis. Do not set up prior to 7 a.m. Saturday morning!
Rain date: Saturday, June 10th.
