Bike for about 35 miles at a leisurely pace on an all-day tour of historic places near the boundaries of Arlington and D.C. Travel along streets in Arlington, Falls Church and Washington, D.C., with many stops and some hills. Visit historical sites between East Falls Church in Arlington and East-West Highway in D.C. , crossing Chain Bridge.
See ten boundary stones that once marked the border between D.C. and Virginia/Maryland. Return along Beech Drive, Rock Creek Park Trail, C&O Canal Towpath, Key Bridge and Custis Trail.
Meet at 9:15 a.m. outside the entrance to the East Falls Church Metro Station, on the west side of N. Sycamore Street underneath I-66. Bring lunch and water.
