Join us for any or all 3 of these 1 hour sessions, designed to help adults learn how to code:

July 12, 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. – Scratch – Learn the basics of programming using Scratch, an online beginning programming tool developed by M.I.T.

July 19, 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. – Beyond Scratch – Go beyond the coding blocks of Scratch to write your first lines of code using variables and if-statements.

July 26, 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. – Beginner Java – Learn the basics of object oriented programming by building a small world using the Java programming language.

Prerequisites: Basic computer skills including keyboard, mouse, and comfort navigating the internet

RSVP on the Library website to receive an event reminder. Attendance at this event is first come, first served. Please come to the Computer Help Desk 30 minutes before class start time to reserve your seat.
