In every life-threatening incident, whether it’s a devastating natural disaster, a mass shooting, or a car crash you can play an important role in saving lives Until the Help Arrives.
Until Help Arrives (UHA) provides fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to help our community save lives until our professional first responders can arrive.
In this training offered by Arlington CERT members, we will review essential concepts such as: maintaining situational awareness, identifying key life threats, stopping bleeding, moving and positioning the injured, and providing psychological support and comfort to the wounded.
The UHA hands-on practice will be held at the Arlington County Fire Training Academy on Thursday, December 16, 6:30-8PM .
In addition to the hands-on, video recordings of the complete UHA training are available so you can learn at your own pace. Preferably before the practice.
Please, sign-up now for the free hands-on practice via Eventbrite at: https://uha_dec2021.eventbrite
TIP: Watching the digital sessions before the hands-on practice is strongly recommended.
